We are the team standing behind the Polish pavillion during LDB. Our exhibition, \'The Poetics of Necessity\', explores how designers find themselves in a new reality, where choice is limited, and time, effectiveness, scale and cost-efficency become a key ingredient in the designing process. We will touch upon the subject of material reuse and its potential in humanitarian aid efforts. We will take a closer look at new aesthetics that arise from reuse becoming an increasingly crucial and indispensible element in design.Our idea is inspired by an ongoing project of collecting reused windows all around Poland, and sending them to non-profits in Ukraine working on grass-roots reconstruction. We are launching the second edition of the window project on 14.02.23, which will contribute to the materials you will see during LDB.
